Exotic Dream Weddings is owned and operated by Donnette Pottinger. I started out in the wedding world doing both videography and photography. After experiencing thousands of wedding in a span of sixteen years and seeing many a blunder due to improper planning, limited knowledge and lack of insight, I decided to impart some of the knowledge I gained through the years with potential brides and grooms who seek a stress and worry free wedding day. I love making others happy and thats why I have chosen Wedding Coordinating as a profession. Helping couples in love choose the best spots in Ocho Rios, Montego Bay and Negril and anywhere on the North coast for their wedding is for me a pleasure. Our wedding venues are varied and many and each unique in their own way. I still own and operate a Videography and Photography company in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. I find that having the eye for photography helps so much in coordinating and helping clients choose the best spot or venue to have their wedding. Exotic Dream Weddings only employs professionals and can provide you with the best of the North Coast ministers, photographers, videographers, mento bands, DJ & music systems, florists, and caterers
We at Exotic Dream Weddings know that your wedding is a once in a lifetime experience, in other words, we have only one shot at it and so we have come up with an array of exotic venues and a friendly and hardworking team of professionals who know how to make your wedding a beautiful, exotic and unforgettable experience.
We process all the legal documentation, arrange the wedding ceremony, the photographer, Videographer, transportation, the flowers, reception and everything is confirmed before you leave for your trip. When you arrive in Jamaica your wedding coordinator will meet with you to finalize plans re: your “Special Day” and assist you with any additional services you may require.
Outdoor weddings can be tricky sometimes depending on the time of day and weather conditions but with my experience and knowledge as a photographer/videographer I am able to suggest the best time of day or wedding location resulting in what we all want at the end of the day -great photographs and video.

Wedding Coordination entails the following:
- Assisting with selection of Wedding site for ceremony and reception
- All Processing of Legal documents and Applying for Marriage License
- Provision of a Non –Denominational Marriage Officer to officiate at wedding
- Organizing of Wedding cake, photographer, videographer and ordering of Floral arrangements and bouquets for the bridal party
- Preparation of an agenda for wedding ceremony and reception
- Musical selection/ DJ, mento band, steel band
- Personalised wedding menus, lunch, brunch, cocktail or dinner, reception inclusive of an assortment bar selection, from sit-down service to buffet menus to suit your taste.
- Organizing transportation for bridal couple and wedding guests to and from wedding site (an additional cost applies)
- Planning of wedding ceremony and reception including a “Wedding Agenda” entailing the processional/ recessional (available at an additional cost)
